Give

Fund the training of a Balkan pastor.

Every dollar is aimed at one outcome: a qualified national pastor, supported by his own congregation, in a city that needs healthy churches.

Make a gift

Give once, or partner monthly.

Monthly partners are the backbone of this work. Internship stipends run on a yearly commitment, and books arrive on a monthly rhythm — steady giving lets BGP promise a Balkan brother a full year of training rather than a hopeful start.

Books and translated resources

Ninety-six books covering the first six months of the program. Fifteen Balkan pastors, interns and lay leaders receive translated 9Marks titles — Church Membership, Expositional Preaching, Gospel, Discipling, The Path to Being a Pastor and Church Elders.

$900

Internship stipends

One year of monthly stipends for five Balkan brothers participating in internships. The stipend strengthens commitment to local church investment, service, and accountability for engaging the books and resources.

$8,500

Internship orientation trip

Travel to Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia to deliver resources and provide orientation for the internships in person.

$2,300

TGC pastoral intensive

Three spots at a pastoral intensive in Cambridge, UK, led by TGC's International Director — one participant from each partnering church. BGP covers visa applications and airfare.

Responsible funding

A giving plan that includes its own ending.

External support is needed to begin gospel-centered activity in unreached places, but caution must be exercised to avoid foreign financial dependence. Foreign money can quietly become the thing a church is built on — BGP has seen that happen in the region.

So every BGP giving plan includes ceasing funding: strategically assisting local pastors and churches toward self-supported ministry. Success is the day a Balkan congregation raises and supports its own pastor and BGP is no longer needed there.
